Troubleshooting

Fixes for a deck that stays dark, values that stay blank, a profile that doesn't switch, or Premium that doesn't show.

Start with Rig health

Open SimDeckOS in SimHub and go to the Dashboard. The Rig health list says in words what is on and what is off: the Stream Deck companion, the MOZA display stream if you use one, and each reader for the game you have selected. Most problems below show up there first.

The Stream Deck stays dark

  • Make sure the Stream Deck app is running. SimDeckOS reaches your deck through the companion inside it; Rig health shows “Stream Deck app not connected” when that link is down.
  • If you installed the Stream Deck app after SimDeckOS, run the SimDeckOS installer again so it can add the companion.
  • If Rig health says this SimHub is not driving the rig, a second copy of SimHub is running. Close one of them.

Values show blank or zero

  • Get on track. Many values only fill once a session is live.
  • Check that the game selected in SimHub is the one you are running.
  • Look at the reader rows in Rig health, and see Notes for each sim for the one-time steps in Assetto Corsa and Le Mans Ultimate.

A profile didn’t switch

  • Profiles switch automatically with the game and the car. The switch is Auto-switch profiles in Settings; check it is on.
  • A profile tied to specific cars only matches those cars. Open it on the Profiles page and check its game, class and car list.
  • While you are editing a layout, auto-switch waits until you are done.

Premium doesn’t show

  • Premium belongs to your account. Check you are signed in with the same account you bought it with: open the account chip in the app.
  • The app checks your account when it starts. If you bought Premium while SimHub was running, sign out and in again, or restart SimHub.
  • Without an internet connection the check can’t go through. Nothing you built is taken away; the Premium pages return once the check succeeds.

Still stuck?

In Settings, use Export diagnostics to save a report, and email it to support@simdeckos.com with what you expected and what happened.
